Screen size: The screen has rounded corners. When measured as a rectangle, the screen measures diagonally 6.86 inches (iPhone 17 Pro Max), 6.55 inches (iPhone Air), 6.27 inches (iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro), or 6.06 inches (iPhone 16e). Actual viewable area is less.

- Charge up to 50% in 20 minutes: Testing conducted by Apple in July 2025 using preproduction iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max units and software, a USB-C charging cable with a 40W Apple Dynamic Power Adapter (model A3351), Apple MagSafe chargers (model A3502, 1 m, and model A3503, 2 m) with a 30W Apple USB-C Power Adapter (model A2164), and a 40W Apple Dynamic Power Adapter (model A3351). Fast charging testing was performed on empty iPhone units. Times were measured from the moment the Apple logo appeared when the unit was powered on. Charging time varies depending on the power adapter, settings, usage, and environmental factors; actual results may vary.

- Collision Detection: iPhone 14 and later models can detect if you've been in a serious car accident and automatically call for help. This feature requires a cellular or Wi-Fi calling connection.
- USB data transfer speed: Up to 20x faster data transfer on iPhone 17 Pro models with a USB 3 cable compared to a USB 2 cable. Requires a 10Gb/s USB 3 cable.
